Guosu Plastic was founded in 2001 and officially established as Guosu Plastics Industrial Co., Ltd. in 2005. In its early stages, the company focused on off grade plastics and environmentally friendly recycled plastic waste. In response to customer demand in 2005, the company expanded its equipment to produce recycled PC (polycarbonate) plastic pellets. In 2007, due to business growth, the company expanded and relocated its factory. To date, with customers’ continued trust and support, the company has grown its operations and, in 2018, invested in a new factory at Tainan Guantian Industrial Park (current location) to meet the demands of its growing clientele.

From its development beginning in 2001 to the present, Guosu has adhered to its business philosophy of “excellent quality, honest operations.” After years of hard work, leveraging accumulated experience and a commitment to improving product quality, the company has continued to grow and thrive. In December 2021, Guosu officially signed a joint venture agreement with Formosa Chemicals & Fibre Corporation, marking the first collaboration in Taiwan’s industry between a virgin plastics manufacturer and a plastics recycling company. Through the combined expertise and technology of both parties, the partnership aims to develop and promote PCR recycled plastics, driving the plastics industry towards a low-carbon, green direction while helping downstream customers achieve their ESG goals and carbon neutrality visions.
